Today is America Recycles Day which inspired us to create a craft from recycled materials!
We also used the artist Picasso as our inspiration! Picasso was a leader in the creation of a new form of art called Cubism. A Cubist uses their imagination to break an object down into shapes, and then put them back together in a new fun way. Here is an example of one of Picasso’s faces.

His houses are beautiful on many levels. The ceiling, in the picture above, was constructed out of thousand of picture frame corners. “A frame shop was getting rid of old samples and I was there waiting.” Read more about him here.
