B-Boys: From Paper to Real Life August 06 2015

Japanese Artist Taku Obata turns his quick, stylized sketches into wonderful wooden sculptures. His  gestural sketches capture the essence of his characters in powerful poses.

This is a great example of his sketches being turned into real life 3D wood sculptures.

He also does these cool cardboard cut-out drawings.

I'm going to show you how to make your own.

Step 1: Draw a quick B-Boy or B-Girl drawing on cardboard

Step 2: Cut out your drawing with scissors.

Step 3: Color and decorate your B-Person any way you'd like, and enjoy!
